About Kim
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my Permanent Makeup procedures. It’s very important to get all of your questions answered and feel comfortable before undergoing one of these very unique and wonderful treatments.
My name is Kimberly Armstrong, and I’m the proud Mommy of the sweetest little boy on the planet. When we are not playing or plotting our next adventure, I’m focused on working… and being the creative type, for me “working” means composing songs on the piano; doing marketing consulting for clients who need my help with writing, editing and lead generation; and performing Permanent Makeup procedures. I cannot do too many of these treatments each day: they are time-consuming and physically demanding, so I choose my clients carefully and put my heart and my full attention into every procedure that I perform. Each creation is special to me, and when we’re finished, your Permanent Makeup becomes artwork that we’ve created together!
I’ve been designing natural-looking Permanent Makeup procedures for more than eight years, and I’ve completed several hundred treatments at many of the well-known spas throughout Southern California, including Spa Gregorie’s and Salon Sauvage. Before I got into this, I was a professional makeup artist and worked “on location” for Lancôme and Clinique – this helped me develop a knack for the most difficult part of the Permanent Makeup process: the design.
I later trained at the prestigious International Institute of Permanent Cosmetics and became certified in Micropigmentation. But my passion for being the best in the industry, despite the fact that the state of California does not regulate the tattooing industry, drives me to continue regularly training with a variety of schools and educators so that I can always deliver the most advanced techniques available, provide the absolute best products on the market and stay on top of all OSHA guidelines for health safety.
If you’d like more information, I welcome the opportunity to speak with you over the phone. If Permanent Makeup feels like a good fit for you, I look forward to meeting you!
Permanent Makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing used to enhance facial features (eyebrows, eyeliner, lips and the creation of beauty marks). The procedure involves sterile needles and pigment that is implanted just below the surface of the skin. The color typically lasts for about two years, but varies by client due to body chemistry, skin pigmentation and exposure to various elements. You must be 18-years-old to receive a Permanent Makeup treatment.
